As someone who lives in the state of Georgia, I've seen what folks in power have done to make it HARDER for people to vote. Voting is a right that should be EASY for everyone to do. Thankfully, I've also witnessed the power of folks coming together to help get people registered and out to the polls. I'm so happy to support organizations like Fair Fight Action (@fairfightaction) and Vote Forward (@votefwd) which actively confront voter suppression and make all voices heard.
One of the truest examples of our humanity is when we take a moment to really see another person and then show kindness toward them. It can be a simple act, but that feeling of connection you make with another human always fills the heart.
