Like many, I’ve been enamored with the concept of space and the ever-expanding universe since I was a child. Space imagery carries a fascinating parallel to magical imagery we see depicted in culture—from twinkling stars to galaxies that spread out like colorful smoke spilling from a bubbling cauldron. We are made of the magic of the universe and are each filled with infinite potential.
Since 2014, I’ve created an annual valentine that I print and mail to my friends, family, and peers. It’s my way of reclaiming Valentine’s Day as an occasion to empower friendship and connections.
