Overview:
I wanted to distill a message of friendship and acceptance for 2019’s valentine into a phrase as simple and honest as “I Like You.” Upon reflection, I realized that Mister Rogers from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood used this recurring quote. It matched my sentiments exactly.
Since 2014, I’ve created an annual valentine design that I print and mail to my friends, family, and peers. It’s my way of reclaiming Valentine’s Day as an occasion to empower friendship and connections.
My dream is for my valentines to grace every fridge. 🖼️
